Back in November 2006 we began the process of selecting our Extra Special Spirits range. It was essential that we concentrated on using only the very best products and ingredients to develop the best spirits possible for our customers.
After almost a year in development, and as a result of an exciting and challenging adventure, we are now proud to offer a collection of products that are worthy of inclusion to the ASDA Extra Special range.
Our quest for excellence led us to the chilly extremes of Iceland for the purest water, to the sunny coast of France to select the stylish 'Oslo' glass bottle, and to Portugal for our heat shrink seals which are hand applied and hand finished on our production line in the equally exotic Chorley! All so that you can enjoy only the very best spirits courtesy of ASDA.

Double distilled from 100% grain neutral spirit, our Extra Special Gin is sourced from one of the oldest Gin Distilleries, which has been making gins since 1761.
The gin is of a traditional style with notable soft juniper notes blended with a mix of earthy and citrus characters. Its overall impact is one of harmony of the eight natural botanicals that make it.
By combining our premium spirit and specially selected botanicals, and distilling them using the traditional pot still method, the result is a very special gin just waiting to be discovered.
