How Are They Made?

Cognac

Cognac is technically a brandy. Whilst brandy may be made anywhere in the world, Cognac can only be produced from specific varieties of white wine in the Cognac region of Western France. It is the result of double pot-still distillation followed by long aging in oak.

There are 3 main styles: VS (Very Special), VSOP (Very Special Old Pale) and XO (Extra Old).

What does it taste like? Mellow and Fruity with a hint of wood flavour.
